The book I want to introduce to you is Frankenstein. Its author is Mary Shelley. Frankenstein is a 208-page book. Its genre is Gothic Science Fiction and its tone is Gothic, Romantic, Tragic, Emotional and Fatalistic. The story's narrative viewpoint is generally the first-person narrative point of view. And also, in third person limited point of view is seen in Robert's expressions.
"Cursed, cursed creator! Why did I live? Why, in that instant, did I not extinguish the spark of existence which you had so wantonly bestowed? I know not; despair had not yet taken possession of me; my feelings were those of rage and revenge. I could with pleasure have destroyed the cottage and its inhabitants and have glutted myself with their shrieks and misery.''
In short, Victor is playing the role of God, abusing his knowledge to reach the limit of man and the secret of life. He creates a monster but when he sees the monster he created, he disgusts his physical features and escapes from the monster. Since the monster is abandoned by his creator, he begins to survive alone and explore the world. He wants to be accepted by people but his physical appearance does not allow it. The Monster, initially good-natured, chooses to be bad over time because of the bad behavior of people. He goes to find his creator, who is the cause of everything and starts killing people who are loved by his creator. According to him, his creator must suffer as much as him and to be alone. The monster wants to take revenge on this person(Victor) who is happy with their loved ones, pushing him to loneliness. The Monster kills Victor's brother and starts his evil. Victor is grieved when he sees what he created and events caused by the monster but he can not share his trouble with anyone. The monster is watching every step of Victor. When Victor and his friend go to travel, the Monster catches Victor alone and he wants him to create an ugly female creature like himself. The monster knows that he will get rid of his loneliness when he has a friend like him. Even if Victor agrees to this at first, he later gives up on this idea and the monster kills his friend and later his wife on their wedding day.
We know all these events from the letters that Robert Walton wrote to his sister. Then Victor follows the monster, he becomes hungry, thirsty, tired during this pursuit. Robert's men recognize Victor and take him aboard while he's dying. ( Robert comes to the North pole for discovery.) Victor tells Robert the story of his life and he warns that the information is dangerous and he should give up his exploration. While Victor is about to die, the monster comes to the ship and makes a short speech with Victor. Robert sees the monster when he gets to the room. The monster jumps from the ship and disappears from the eyes.

Besides that, there are many motifs/ symbolism.
*Light and Fire
*The Spark
*Biblical Allusions
*The Sublime
*Explorations
*Have you ever felt alienated yourself?
*Do you realize how dangerous Hubris is actually?
*Do you ever think that knowledge is not always a good thing?
I will explain these questions with the motifs and symbols I mentioned by associating with the text.
Alienation and otherness are about the Monster. The Monster feels alien, he is a stranger to society.
Hubris is about Victor. He has already tried to create a new life by opposing God. He plays God by creating the Monster.
Also, uncontrolled information refers to uncontrolled power. Light represents knowledge and fire hurts you if you approach unconsciously.
*Have you noticed the things about biblical allusions found in my summary?
The creation story of Monster is similar to Adam’s in Paradise Lost. Like Adam, the Monster asked for a wife to get rid of loneliness.
The Monster has the right to choose goodness and evil like human beings and he was born with them.
I advise you to read this book.
For years I thought Frankenstein was actually the monster name; get a spoiler for those who do not know…
First, the language of the story is understandable and it is quite gripping. You can think very different points about events while you are reading.
I think this is the story of a man making his own end. Mr. Frankenstein, why did you start such a creation without thinking about its outcomes?
I did not tell you how the deaths happened, do not you wonder how the monster hurts Victor's loved ones?
How can a monster created with goodness choose evil? What are the things that make him chooses evil? What happened to the Monster after Victor left the monster?
Will you take side whether Victor's side or the side of the monster at the end of the story? I am with the monster, I think you too. While you are reading the book, you see the rightful sides of the monster.
All these answers are hidden in the book.
